A founder-led institutional trading technology firm is building the infrastructure that connects traditional financial markets with digital assets. It provides execution tooling for digital assets, derivatives and FX, designed for professional trading desks that need precision, risk control and reliability in a market that never closes.
The founding team has decades of combined experience in FX and electronic trading, enterprise technology, and regulatory compliance across Asia-Pacific and Europe. The firm is regulated across more than one jurisdiction, and governance, auditability and security are built into the product from the start. It works closely with clients, co-designs with trading desks and is known for dependable engineering.
The firm is now growing its commercial team in Asia, and this role is central to that.
The Role
The company is hiring a Sales Director to lead its institutional client acquisition and relationship strategy from Singapore. This is a senior, hands-on position for a commercial leader who combines a strong network among institutional trading desks with an understanding of electronic execution. The Sales Director will shape the go-to-market approach for the region, win mandates directly, and later build and lead a regional sales function.
The role works directly with the founders and has real influence over commercial strategy, pricing, partnerships and product direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional sales strategy for institutional digital asset, derivatives and FX trading solutions.
- Originate, pursue and close new institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, banks, brokers, prop trading firms and market makers.
- Run complex, consultative sales cycles from first contact through technical evaluation, onboarding and commercial agreement.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with heads of trading, CIOs, COOs and technology decision-makers.
- Develop partnerships with liquidity providers, prime brokers, exchanges and other ecosystem players.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to pass on client feedback and market intelligence.
- Work with compliance and operations teams to ensure clients are onboarded in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast, and report commercial performance to the leadership team.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and client meetings across the region.
- Over time, recruit, mentor and lead additional sales and business development hires.
