Our client is a fast-moving fintech company building an AI-native digital asset trading platform. They are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Platform Engineer to take ownership of the application layer across a sophisticated, multi-component product. This is not a standard web application or marketing site role — the platform spans trading dashboards, investor portals, presale infrastructure, admin tooling, compliance workflows, real-time market data feeds, wallet integrations, and backend application services. The successful candidate will own major parts of the product end-to-end, from frontend implementation through to backend API integration.
What You'll Be Working On
The engineer will help design, build, and integrate a broad range of platform components, including the trading UI, investor dashboard, presale application, and admin panel. Beyond these, the role covers authenticated user flows, KYC and compliance workflow states, subscription and account systems, and portfolio and order state interfaces. On the infrastructure side, the work extends to real-time WebSocket data flows, API gateway integrations, and wallet and smart contract interaction flows. Day-to-day, you will work closely with the CTO, trading infrastructure developers, and product leadership.
Core Technical Requirements
Candidates must bring strong production experience across a modern full-stack toolset. On the frontend, this means Next.js and React with TypeScript. On the backend, Node.js and NestJS, alongside PostgreSQL and Redis for data and caching. The role also demands solid experience with REST APIs, WebSocket systems, authentication and session management, role-based access control, and the design of secure frontend and backend architectures. Experience building and maintaining dashboard and admin platforms is essential.
Highly Regarded
Domain experience in adjacent areas will be a significant advantage. Our client is particularly interested in candidates who have worked on trading platforms, crypto exchanges, fintech dashboards, or brokerage and investor portal systems. Familiarity with KYC and AML workflows, wallet connection flows using wagmi, viem, or ethers, TradingView chart integrations, real-time market data interfaces, or high-security admin systems will all be viewed favourably.
What's Expected of You
The right candidate will be able to take product requirements and turn them into working, production-ready systems. They will build clean, scalable frontend architecture and integrate reliably with backend services and real-time event flows. An understanding of financial correctness and auditability is important, as is the ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and collaborate effectively through GitHub pull requests and code reviews. Clear documentation of implementation decisions is expected, and the role demands a high degree of ownership and autonomy — this is not a hand-holding environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a proven track record shipping complex production software in fintech, trading, crypto, SaaS, or high-security platform environments. They are comfortable owning a meaningful part of a platform, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and driving a product from early-stage architecture through to production-ready infrastructure. Candidates who are frontend-only, at a junior level, or who lack experience shipping real production systems are unlikely to be a strong fit for this role.
