A leading Crypto Asset Management firm operating at the intersection of quantitative research, artificial intelligence and financial markets is looking for an AI & Quantitative Analyst to join its team in Ta' Xbiex, Malta.
The firm designs systematic investment strategies for digital assets with institutional discipline, advanced technology and a strong quantitative approach.
About the role
The successful candidate will work on the development of ML-driven quantitative strategies for digital assets, researching alpha signals, portfolio construction methodologies, backtesting frameworks, risk modelling and performance attribution. They will work directly with senior portfolio managers and researchers, gaining exposure to live strategies, real market data and capital allocation decisions.
About the candidate
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree, preferably a PhD, in Machine Learning, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related field. They have a solid foundation in machine learning and quantitative research, strong programming skills in Python, and experience with data analysis, statistical modelling and backtesting. Knowledge of C++, Rust or similar languages will be considered a plus.
